He is also survived by his sister, Mary Alice Allen, niece, Gayle, and nephew, David Allen. Paul is loved and will be missed by a large extended family which includes many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. In 1945, Bob married Selma Herter, and they were married for 66 years until her passing in 2011. Bob is also survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Hansen, and Linda Kociba, brother-in-law, Stanley Toney, and many nieces and nephews.

Robert Neil Mast, age 101, of Dexter, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at his home. Although he put up with Parkinson’s disease, congestive heart failure, and skin cancer among other things, he never complained or let those ailments slow him down. He accepted his conditions with grace, and as a lifetime philosopher, he recognized and accepted that living to 100 came with a heavy price that he was more than willing to pay.

He was a regular MC for Dexter High School’s talent shows, and he spoke numerous times at assemblies at the high school on motivation and positive thinking. She had lived in the Jackson area for the past 20 years, moving from Leslie. Thelma was born April 12, 1944 in Stockbridge, MI, the daughter of Frank and Rachel Mary Minix. She worked in the Remanufacturing Department of General Motors for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her beloved dog, Bandit.
